"Erik is a Fort Mill based artist who works out of his home studio. He specializes in contemporary realism focusing on landscapes, cityscapes, portraits, pet portraits, but will paint just about anything that interests him. His inspirations include Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Edward Hopper, Ned Smith, and N. C. Wyeth.

Erik grew up in Pittsburgh where he began painting and drawing portraits, wildlife, and sports stars at a young age. He lived in Cincinnati for 5 years before moving to Fort Mill in 2015.

Erik has a BA in Applied Media Arts from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a MS in Computer Science from Duquesne University."
